Does anyone out there have vertical doors, or seen them? I know there is a kit from verticledoorsinc, and it looks sweet, but Ive been told by a buddy of mine who owns a body shop that there will be big problems down the road.

 

well if you go to sell the vehicle in the future, you will have to take them off as they wont pass safeties with them on the car

and that the universal ones you will have to cut into the frame of the car to put them on, there's a lot of cutting involved usually to put these things on

 

all the ones i have seen say they are up to the safty standards. but i looked in to them and for a grand i figured i could find a better way to blow my money on the car.

like more horse power etc...

Also from what i have see on other cars they are pretty sturdy. i just cant see doing it to a monte that you want to drive all the time.

 

All I can say is "YUK"!!!

 

they say they're up to safety standards, but then you get a mechanic that says, no way no how, sorry they wont pass safeties, you may get away with it some places, but definetely not up here

i dont know why, its stupid, but thats what the mechanics are saying, because i've had a few people interested in em at my store, but then mechanics tell them they wont safety the vehicle with them on there...i dunno...wierd

i wish the mechanics weren't like that up here, because i would like them for my vehicles
