I purchased The Beast for $20,000 after returning from Cuba in June of 2008. I "discovered" the cartuning kit in July of 2009. I saved for six months and spent about $7,000 in January of 2010 for the kit plus an FE2 suspension. The way I see it, I have a total of $29,000 in The Beast. (cosmetic changes included) When I beat $60,000 BMWs, it makes me VERY happy. Good luck with the GTO if you decide to go that route. I have the same aluminum heads that were on a friend's GTO. He WISHED it was as fast as my car and he had already spent $30,000 on his.
