Looking at a 84 Monte. Good value or not?
Well, my 01 SS bit the dust. Now that I found a new daily driver, I need scratch my Monte Carlo itch. I found one near by. Its an 84 sport coup, with a SS front clip on cowl hood on it.
The guy repainted it, and the interior is pretty nice. He also put a pretty healthy 350 in it. They only problem is the trans is pretty much toast, and needs redone. It has a th350 trans in it, and I would probably swap a 700r4 or 200-4r in it depending on what I found. He wants $2,200 for it. I thought it was pretty good price, but I don't know what they are going for these days.
