Default - Unhooking the ECU

Before I begin the install of a CAI, I intend on thoroughly cleaning up whatever I may find underneath the original airbox & computer, ... which may mean some cleaners & obviously water to rinse ...

Will I have any issues if I unhook the computer for a bit, then simply pulg back in? Will everything just fall back into place, or with out power, does it loose info? Should I disconnect BATT?

Definantly disconnect battery to reduce the risk of you frying your ECU. Some vehicles if you disconnect the ECU then you have to take it to a dealer and have them redo everything. Others you can just plug and play. From my experience the ones i have done it doesnt loose info but sometimes your car wont recognize the ECU even though it came from that car. Hope i helped a little.

I don't think I would disconnect it. I would just use cleaners sparingly and clean it up with some rags.
