Default Turn Signal Issue.

2 Days ago I was driving to Wal-mart, everything was going well. I went through a right turn, and a left turn, and the turn signal was working fine. I had another right turn to make and I noticed the turn signal quit working. I was a little thrown off, it had worked fine before (and what a surprise, Just got the car paid off 2 days before). Mom suggested fuses, and since I was already at wal-mart I grabbed some (doesnt hurt to have extras anyway). We replaced the fuse (Which wasn't blown in the first place) and it still didnt work.

Got home and messed with it a bit, pressing buttons and flipping things. and they suddenly started working, Anybody else have this problem? Or know what exactly could have caused it? Mom searched google and came up with the hazard switch, and I did what the it said to do and that didnt do anything, but they eventually did start working after I messed with everything.

Your Mother search was good & most times it's the Hazard switch, but if that is replaced & it still doesn't fix , then you will have to check into a Multi-function switch
Did you check all your turn signal bulbs ? Sometimes when they are weak and about to go out ? they can cause intermittent flashing ? Check back to see what our Expert Tech Member's suggest/submit...

Sometimes mine go out. If I hit the hazards button they will click back on and work for a while.

I believe it's all signs of a failing Multi-function switch.
