General Monte Carlo Talk Talk about the Monte Carlo. Does not have to be your Monte. Can include pics and games.

Traded in LuSe4, and I am totally depressed.

Sorry you got rid of the Monte. I would love to own that car.

Sorry to hear about the trade in blues.

I read this thinking it seems weird to need to get a newer car to replace an '04 Grand Prix. I later see the GP has 130,000 on it. I'm reading all that thinking, unless there is something really wrong with that GP, it sounds to me like no need to replace.... I'm still driving a '94 Grand Am as a daily with over 210,000 miles. Last December, we bought an '05 Impala with 150,000 on it for my wife to use as a daily. During the summer, she drives an '01 Mustang, and so long as my Grand Am still has life, the Monte is right now a summer only car.

Don't get me wrong, I understand theres a LOT more dynamics in the need/want area that factor into your trade in decision (such as trading in the car with the higher value). It just stinks. But we all have our reasons for making our decisions. Bottom line, I hope your plans work as you hope. If so, sounds like it will be worth it in the long run.

I talked to my dad today. He works at the dealership I traded it in at. Apparantly it sold the day I traded it in. I wondered why it wasn't on the dealership website everytime I checked.
I can see why it sold so fast, it is a great looking car. If I would have known that the later Monte's had the V8 in them at the time I was looking to buy, I would have looked for one instead of what I ended up with.

I'm sure I'm late on commenting but instead of tradeing her off I would have let the wife drive it lol so sad when it happens but if it was for the best then it was
