Unhappy Traded in LuSe4, and I am totally depressed.

These last couple of days I have been down in the dumps. I never thought that I would get so sad about trading in a car. When I was leaving him at the dealership, it felt like I had given away my dog, Harley.

I am doing better now, but still feel really bad.

I decided to trade him in and get something new for the wife. She drives a lot of miles for work, and her car, a 2004 Grand Prix GTP Comp G, is starting to show some wear. I have only been working off and on until we start to get busy again in the fall/ winter, so I have been feeling really guilty about staying home and having three nice cars while she drives her old Grand Prix. This is what ultimately made the decision to get rid of him. I will drive her old GTP as my daily car. In the spring, maybe I can get the new Camaro that I have been drooling over.

We replaced the Monte with a 2009 Camry XLE with everything on it including bluetooth. It is a very comfortable car, and it is certified. My wife really likes it and can't wait to start modding it. I am taking it in for tint tomorrow and just ordered the SE lip spoiler for it a few minutes ago. You know what they say, a happy wife, a happy life!

This has been one of the best cars I have ever owned. I am so glad that I bought him, and only wish that they were still making Monte Carlos.

I will still be stopping into the forum from time to time. I have to say, this is by far the friendliest and best forum I have ever been apart of!

Here are some pics of LuSe4 at the dealership before I said good bye

and a reflection of the wife and I in the trunk lid. Disclaimer, we are not wider than we are tall!

This is true. She really is happy, and it was my decision (and guilt) to get rid of him. She didn't want me to because she knew how much I loved it. Hopefully it will come around full circle someday and I will find another amazing car that I love equally as much.

I feel bad for you too. I know that had to be very hard to do. 5 years later, I still regret trading in one of my previous cars.
