Don't know for sure, but the michigan state police tested an '06 impala and it hit 142mph.

mine hit 113 before it goverend out, and it had plenty of pedal left i mean i alot

I had mine to 115 a few weeks ago on Alligator Alley, sitll had plenty to give, I just didnt want to push a clean driving record.

dont know about the 06's but my 02 was at 110 before i had to slow for a curve, and i felt like i doing 60...we'll see when it dries up here. if i don't get back to you about it, i either got arrested and my license was taken, i had a horrible wreck, or i forgot!!!!

I don't know much about the new "fly on the wire" throttle system of the Monte, but how would one know if there was plenty of pedal left if the system was purely electronic?
