Had To stop and tell yall what the wife did. she told me the oil light turned on in the Monte and so she put 2 quarts of oil in the engine. I asked her if she actually checked the oil first? Answer: you guessed it....."NO" !!!! So i checked it and yes it was OVER full, by about 2 1/2 quarts. Shen then asked me if that was bad! She's still learning! I was able to drain the oil before any gasket or O-ring damage was done I think my oil sending unit sensor or something like that is going out. Just thought i would throw one out there!

 

That would make me think twice before giving her the keys next time.

did she see low oil or change oil?
