Default Tires?

I was just seeing what everyones opioion on tires are. When it gets nicer out I will be looking for new tires and wondering what people thought where the best tires out. I want something better than the factory tires that came on it. Something that sticks better when driving hard around corners and taking off.

Well I don't know that much about performance tires but for my summer tires I use Bridgestone Insignia's. Great tread wear and pretty good performance to boot. Usually that combo is impossible to come across, but I guess I found one tire that has both features.

Oh and they are pretty reasonable pricewise as well

But, I've heard good thing about Bridgestone Potenza's, you might want to check those out.

Check Tirerack.com They have alot of user opinions and experiances. I'm personally getting Goodyear Tripletreds in Spring, but they are rated great on my 17" rims.

I'm lookin at replacing tires very soon too. I've had a few different ones suggested to me. MichelinHXMXM4 (told they're excellent gripping performance tire, but expensive as hell and not the greatest in winter weather), Michelin Primacy MXi/4 (slightly cheaper, and better all season performance), Hankook H405 (cheaper still), Goodyear TripleTred, and Goodyear Regatta 2.

Not 100% sure yet, but leaning towards the Primacy MXi/4 so far. Definitely NOT going with the factory-style Goodyear RS-A. Horrible in snow and wet roads!
