Im in Wisconsin, I have a '01 black SS. I just got mine tinted with 15% platinum plus by johnsons window films. It blocks the light but looking out it is not as dark as I thought it would be. During the day it actually changes colors as your view angle changes, if you stand in front of the car and look at the side windows they look black but of you look at the side they are very reflective with a slight blue hue to it, and if u walk right up to it all u see is your reflection. At night they look pretty much straight black but still very reflective. I will add some pics later tonight or tomorrow.
