6th Gen ('00-'05): sunroof drain

sunroof drain
Having trouble with a leak inside my daughter's '03 SS. In a heavy rain, a little water begins leaking out of the overhead console. It's been minor so far, but I don't want interior water damage in a near-perfect Monte. So, I opened the sunroof and found the drains, determining that the driver's corner was the problem. First, I blew compressed air straight down the hole, then cautiously snaked a soft thin wire down there to be sure it was clear. I can now put my finger on the end of the drain outlet in the door jamb and while blowing air through, I can feel it coming through the drain clear and strong. But, STILL..the water drains much more slowly than the other corner. I'm worried it's still going to leak. What the heck am I missing ? It's driving me crazy.

Passenger side leaks common from cabin air intake under cowl where cabin air filter is placed gm released a plastic piece to install that sits over the air intake available on Amazon check other posts here for part number.
other possible leaks can be from door either water getting in at base of window or rubber stripping that runs along the top of the door

I believe this is why heavy rain makes pools on my passenger side mostly, the cabin air filter seal is worn or came off. Where can I get this plastic cover piece for it? I searched on Amazon, couldn't find it..
