sucks about the nice yellow Monte man. People tend to not think much when thy're driving. Which is pretty stupid if you ask me. Glad to see you stuck with a Monte though.

 

That was a really nice monte , i remember seeing it on cardomain back when i had my yellow one lol, i always wished mine looked like that haha

I really hope the insurance company sold the car to get parted out or something. Like a few of you said, the visual damage was contained to the front clip. The majority of the car from the firewall back, including the interior, was fine. I would have kept it and parted it out myself but it would have taken me forever and my situation at the time wouldn't really allow me to do so. If I had been a member on here at that time, I'm sure somebody would have taken a parts car haha.

 

MATT: I loved the YELLOW Momte. Great looking car even in the pictures it still looks good. There's a young Dude i see around here in one. Next time I see him. I will track him down and tell him about our site. His is yellow with the checkered flags going down the side. Glad to hear your ok after all that. Beleive me I know how you felt. I rooled my pick up a nd few yrs ago. That how I got this monte. Not sure what I would do if someone hit my MONTE. GRRRR........I have a fit if it gets wet!

 

This is funny.. well not the wreck.. but we had a 2003 Yellow Monte Carlo SS and then traded it for a BLACK 2006 Monte Carlo SS. Unfortunately we have sold the black one with 36,XXX miles on it. It look ran and drove like a brand new car! We LOVED that car. We have been looking for a 2000-2007 lately and have not been able to find a decent one that the people aren't asking more than what their worth! Enjoy your 06! Those 5.3L V8's are amazing!
