Yup just go with a wheel skin, im in no need of ome but my leather is getting a lil dirty on my wheel

The only thing I wonder about one of those is how do you get the stitching to stay in place? The last few times I tried to sew something, the ends seem to always come undone..

I was going to try a few drops of crazy glue, or something like that, on the knot. But I'm open to suggestions too.

I love the wheelskins cover on mine. Same as Mike's, but with perforated red leather.

I have the leather steering wheel, between me and the last owner it actually rubbed through in one spot to the shiny material under it.

I actually made a good knot (and the thread will hold a knot well) and then to hide the end of the thread, I cut it with an inch hanging off and tucked it under the cover and some stitching. Worked well (you can see then knot, but not the end of the thread and I've never had a problem).

I suggest wrapping you fingers with something before stitching it (because you have to pull tight that thread can cut your hands as you pull).

i have a leather wrapped wheel, but i really really want a red and black one like in the 2000 pace car

too bad they dont have red leather shift boots to match
