man I'm glad I just read this thread before I messed with the freon. Great advice! Gonna take it to the local chevy garage and see what is goin on with mine

I was looking to add freon to my 02 mc ...I can't find the damn ports.

When I test the A/C system at work, we use 30* from ambient as a rule of thumb from the center vents.

Default 04 monte ac

hello all my ac is acting funny. the fan blows but the clutch wont engage. i can spin it by hand. any ideas...

If the system is low on freon/oil the clutch won't engage. You probably have a leak somewhere and need to fix that, then get the system refilled.
