Default FREON has to be leaking..Right?

My ac was hot, put a new radiator on her (2000 ss) it had a hair line leak. Put some more freon in her and it was perfect for like a week, started blowing hot again...Changed valve core, put more Freon in her, fine for like a week.. blowing hot again...You know freon dosentevaporate , has to be leaking right? dam I hope this isnt exspensive.

Thanks

Okay when you say freon you're actually talking about R-134a correct? NOT R-12. I would say you may have lines leaking or your compressor is starting to go bad. But I'm no a/c expert by ANY means.

Did you change the radiator or did you mean the condensor?? If you have changed the condensor and the heater core/ evaporator, could be something as simple as a damaged o-ring. Something else you can do is have a tech put some dye in the system and then check with a black light. Good luck.
