Hmm Im surprised he didnt list a phone number. Alot of people dont even respond to the craigslist e-mails but post a phone number instead. Im not sure what his deal is. Doesnt seem like a scam but who knows. I dont know if there is an option to automatically relist craigslist ads or not. If so maybe its just relisting itself and he hasnt gotten to respond yet. I cant remember I havent posted a craigslist ad for a few years now.

Thanks for the compliment BTW. I appreciate it.

Believe me man, I'm really not keene on the 5th gens because of the "lumina" design which reminds me of someone I hate but lets not get into that. But yours just looks really great. Yeah I'm surprised he hasnt responded. No, craigs list you have to login, through your email, and repost it. I dont understand. There was one in new hampshire which I LOVED and I'd email the guy, he responded with this phone number, but no area code. I email him for the area code and he says "i hope you plan on picking the car up". I swear either the people who are selling these cars are ret*rds or they just dont want to. Hopefully this guy gets back to me. You're in PA so you're not too far from where I am, if something pops up let me know!

Don't know how you feel about earlier 80s, but here you go:

1985 Monte Carlo SS

Or perhaps if you're a smooth talker, you can try your hand at this one

2003 Chevrolet Monte Carlo SS, PACE CAR EDITION 4 Speed Automatic BLUE

Just throwing some other ones out there.

that 85 is not half bad at all. But with a 383 and a turbo 350 motor (three speed) and 3:73 gears, if i were to get on the highway, the rpm's would be through the roof at 65mph correct?

but just in case though, wouldnt a 350 turbo tranny with 3:73 gears kill any top end? because i know its a three speed so itll shoot up in acceleration but at 65mph itll scream 4 or maybe even 5000 rpms.

I believe at 65 in third you will be somewhere between 3000 and 3200rpm with stock tires and 3.73 gears

Probably, but the speedos on those cars only go to 75-85mph or so... so you're limited in that either way. I don't think it would pose a big problem.
