had a 07 ss and dcouldnt work out deal after lease was up 3 yrs later .. yr after that bought a used 06 ss... and both cars ive had over 130 without no problem.. the spedo on the monte shows 140 and on the pontiac soltice shows on thier dash 150 with their turbo v6...grr.. but she handles very nice and she even feels she lowers to the ground more and she doesnt bounce or sway at all at those speeds.. she tightens her legs and just hugs the road very nice... brakes on other hand for the monte ss suck..but when they need replacement im upgrading those crappy stock ones... and u can say right to a cops face u speed but until he catches u himself he cant do squat so .. yea i speed .. and i pick the roads that i know as a driver for 20 yrs where it is safe or not and how and when to do so.. just cause u speed doesnt mean ur unsafe.. heck the most accidents accur 5 miles within ur house so unless u live next to a highway ur more likely get into accident at 30 then at 70... is the risk higher ..well depends where and what time ur driving fast..heck if government didnt want us going fast they woulda made car companys making cars with 1 litter's like a lawn mower.. they fault speeders so they can say thats the reason why insurance is high and also by having engines faster than 65 allows police to make money on speeders claiming they are saving lives.. ha.. that so then why u only see them during rush hours and during sporting events where theres the heavy traffic that they can snag for quick cash..

 

Since I never plan to get to Top Speed, I wanna know how fast the car goes from 20, the speed I turn onto the Highway on ramp, to 73 MPH, the highway speed I set my cruise control to. And trust me, on the Garden State Parkway That's slow!
