So what does every1 do to their Monte to get ready for Winter?
wow this is all great info thanks guys, my tires are pretty crappy so I'm going to put new tires on after pulling it out from storage and getting the new o2 sensor then too. I thought STA-BIL looked like a good brand, I'll have to pick it up tomorrow on my trip to O Riellys. I washed my truck a lot in winter too to prevent rusting it helped a lot but not a total preventative. And thats a clean S-10 for beign a 93 very nice.
i complete clean the inside and out, (buff, wax, vacuum, interior polish, put a black ice tree in), then i put it on the tender and throw the cover over it.
the black ice smells great for a while since the scent is soaked in a bit and the interior polishes smell pretty good too!

And Schocker I miss my camaro
lol I had an 86 Iroc z she was my baby until the motor just totally went, and I decided she had too many little flaws that adding in a motor to the list, was just time to trade her off, thats how I got my first Monte

I wash, wax, and polish interior and use leather conditioner on her and use invisible glass cleaner every other day if not everyday and I plan on doing that before storage too I like the DRIVEN brand air freshners they have a black one too that is similar to black ice smell and thats great adivce for storage i think I will do that.
haha kids huh, glad I dont have to think about that for awhile but hey man they have to start somewhere, I don't mind miles much jsut a number to me but I do enjoy having a lower mile monte, the LS is at about 81k and the SS is at aproxx. 77500 right now, maybe someone could put a poll on this thread to see how many drive their montes in winter?
Naw he's automatic LOL wish he where a stick then Zach (my Kid) would never had driven him.
Kid learned how to drive on Menard 5 years later he has gotten a lot better and has his own car.
