400 hp doesnt mean anything in a real heavy car...4th gen camaro like an 00-02 ftw if you really want one..sorry but the new camaro isnt an fbody..therefor not a camaro

Im gunna call BS on that one no offense lol, but maybe its just where i live theres not a lot of them on the reaod at the moment. Now mustangs everybody and their grandma has at least two. just like everyone and their grandma around here drinks busch light yuck. It seems like you really want one so if thats the case why ask lol in the end ur going to do what makes u most happy just my opinion as stated before though the way the windshield is is horrible, theyre ugly *** sin and I'd rathe have a third or fourth gen anyday

 

I obviously like the look of the new camaros, otherwise I wouldn't be in this situation; and it's not about the uniqueness of the camaro, i really don't care if other people have them if I enjoy driving it. It's about the uniqueness of my Monte Carlo and whether its worth giving me up after the pride/effort I've put into it to make it what it is.

I really do appreciate everyone's opinions... keep em coming. This helps me make flesh out my internal argument. Somedays I wake up and I think "Damn it, I'm getting the camaro!" and then by the time I go to bed I'm bummed about thinking of the Monte not being there.

I voted for the Camaro. I love your monte but I really like the new Camaro too. As for the everybody has a Camaro argument I have to say that everywhere I go I see a lot of Monte's (probably at least 20 a day) but If I seen Cully's it would stand out among the rest. I'm sure in a few months his Camaro would too.

 

If you love the monte that much keep it, i use to trade off vehicles all the time because i got sick of them or something would go wrong with them and i didnt wanna spend the money to fix it so i got rid of them. I gave up on that once I got ahold of the monte. I'm going to fix the paint flaws, tint the iwndows and get my rims on and upgrade stuff slowly. I love this car and its here to stay. The only part im worried aobut it my drivers side rear wheel well has three dime sized very slight surface rust spots in the well or whatever you call it anyway im wondering if that'd be an easy fix since its just surface like literally could sand it off easily with no effort. Besides that im not to worried about the cost of fixing everything else.
