Should I buy this 04 MC????

I have an 02 SS with 134k and mine is good as long as I keep up on maintenance like tune ups when needed, oil changes etc. Monte Carlo's can be great cars but just as temperamental as a Mercedes or BMW. It was always my dream car too and I plan to hang on to mine for a bit. I've had it about 5 years now. I agree with the other posters when they say get a carfax report. Black on black is sweet though I almost bought one but ended up with a tweety bird yellow one instead lol. But hey, I never lose it in the parking lots!

Honestly though I like the 3400s I've never owned one for over 15,000 miles but I've had 2 Grand Am GTs and my LS Monte Carlo all with 3400s and yeah they arnt the most powerful but I use them get around and for winter. However I finally own a SS I mainly heard the hype about the 3800s lasting forever from all my friends in high school who had Grand Prixs and ran them to at least 220k if not more, and now that I finally have one I must say I love it.

Mine sticks out in the parking lots too.. That is, unless there's other 6th Gen Montes around.. I can still pick mine out though, because of this-
The only MC I know that has this, being used by the alarm instead of flashing the Parking (and burning out the Instrument Panel) lights.
