Default Seat Question

So, I've decided I'm going to redo the heck out of my baby, the 79, and quite frankly, my seats are in terrible shape.. now, I could get them redone, which would cost me a metric f*ckton in cash.. Or, I can hit the junkyards and see about finding some replacement seats in better shape (and colour!)..

So, my question is, I've heard that I can pull seats from a few different cars... Which ones can I pull from?

Thanks for your help.

I've seen pics of a 79' with swapped seats from an 85' grand prix...it was on cardomain i think....he said they bolted in perfectly...that is if you have bucket seats...if itsbench you might have difficult finding seats.

it depends on how much fabrication you want to do...but you can probably put any seat you want in your car...

if you can figure out how to get the tracks of the bottom of your seats and weld them to the bottom of the new seat your looking @ then it should go in no problem

I know the 1980s Olds Cutlass and Buicks of the same size as the Montes, the seats will fit into a '78-88 Monte Carlo.

Doesn't OPGI sell new seat covers for the 3rd gen Montes? I know they do for the 4th gens.
