Default From manual seat to power seat

My car is a 1997 monte carlo ls. It has a 60/40 manual adjust drivers seat. I have a doner manual adjust bucket seat and center console. I want to get a power seat chassis and install it onto my doner bucket seat chassis. Can this be done simply by removing the manual frame and installing a power frame?

might have to make a mounting plate for it, but I don't see why not.

Default RE: From manual seat to power seat

I started my manual to power seat swap and it was a breeze. It was as easy as unbolting the manual seat frame from the bucket seat and bolting on the power seat frame to that bucket seat. Even the seat trim on the bottom matched the mounting holes. There is even a power seat controll "knockout" coveron the manual seat trim. I was lucky to find a power seat at the auto re-cycler that was $50.00 because the seat itself was vandalized (ripped up". All i wanted was the power seat frame.......
