I just bought a 2006 Monte Carlo LTZ and the lever on the back of the right shoulder of the passenger seat is broken off. like the one you use to access the back seat. anyone know where i could order one online or is it something i would have to go to the dealership for?

 

The same thing happened to mine; just go to the dealership. If they don't have one in stock they'll order it. Its like... 5 or 6 bucks?

haha same situation with the whole college thing so I feel ya there. and well... no, not really. the old one should just pull off (might take some force or a screwdriver to pry it) and the new one goes on the exact opposite.. slides onto the lever

my old one was broken off completely so there was just the metal lever sticking out. I assume yours is the same?

 

Ya mines just the metal bar sticking out. No plastic or anything just the bar with a hole threw it

 

Mine did the same too Wifey had a hor glue gun I just glued it back that was a month ago still holding

 

Ya I just bought the car and the piece was missing so I guess I'll have to buy one. Just went to the dealership but got there after they closed of course. That's my luck lol.

Ya. Picked it up yesterday. Clicked in easy as can be and only cost $8. . Thx for the help
