When I go for my change next month, I'll ask them how much additional for a synthetic change, and if it's high I'll get a normal change and then buy my stuff from then on. Or I'll get all the stuff to do my own changes and just use my Dad's garage when I visit. Little father son bonding over the 2 Montes like usual.

HAHA okay here's the update. I just got back from Advance Auto and they read the code and I bought myself a new Haynes Manual. It was a multiple car like you said: Lumina, Monte, & Impala from 95-05 (sans boost)

It was my Downpipe for the Cat code!!!! OVER A MONTH LATER!!! Oh well... Looks like I'm driving around with a CEL until I save up the money for my mods + tune.

MaMonte Mike, they do have a Haynes book for the 06-07 Monte. I looked just like you asked me to. Look I even have photographic proof!!!

If you can't see that it says 24047

Let me know if you can't find it, etc. It was actually $24.95 plus tax so it was $26.74. If you need me to pick you up one and send it out just let me know if you can't find one for under $30.
