Has anyone used Seafoam on a supercharged SS before? What vac line did you use for the intake cleaning?

Advice?

 

Brake booster cable, the one near your brake fluid reservoir.

2 person job IMO. So you can hold your thumb over the vacuum leak when you start the car.

 

What about cleaning the throttle body or MAF sensor? Supercharger?

 

For that you just pop off the intake hose and spray.

 

Spray?? I thought it was a liquid container?

There's also seafoam that comes in a spray.

Or you can buy a specific spray for your MAF.

Or you can use non-chlorinated brake cleaner spray, this way it's multi-purpose and you aren't buying a MAF Cleaner spray just for your MAF which you won't spray often.

 

Ok cool. can you descreen these MAF sensors??

I'm sure you can, but I don't think that does anything on our cars but allow anything your air filter doesn't catch to go in.

We don't really have to worry about airflow that much for the de-screen to be effective, it's just like porting a throttlebody for us, no real gains unless your mod levels are very high.

Stuff just gets louder.

 

Thought maybe because of the SC and descreening the MAF would make some difference. The PCM was done so IDK. thought I would inquire...
