I finally got around to removing my screen and installing a K&N filter. Just last night, in fact. Overall the combination feels more responsive than before. I totally thrashed the screen while removing, though. I wasn't wearing my glasses when I did it, so I didn't notice the C ring. It was only after the screen popped out that I saw the flexibility of the ring and how easily it can be removed. Learned my lesson that one!!

Anyone know what the flow path is of air coming into the intake? Where it sarts, how it travels. Are the small slots on the front of the grill actually helpful to airflolw? I have an '05 LT.
