Has anyone ever tryed to remove the metal screen between the throatle body and the Intake tube? I was thinking about taking it out the other day when I was messing aroiund with the CAI, but i wasnt sure if it was safe for the car. Any thoughts on this?

 

leave it...not bad but not good, no point in removin it without a **** ton of other mods, pointless waste of time

 

the purpose of the screen is to help the maf sensor read correct amount of air flow entering the tb. the maf sensor is right behind the screen. i see people removing the screen before, but they all said it's a pain to put it back in.
