I've used Mobil 1 from the start.
I looked at running RP but found Mobil 1 to be very competitive in longevity up against RP. Plus it's cheaper.

I think Mobil 1 will hold up chemically speaking till around 12K, but I still change mine every 5-6K. I get my oil changed with M1 for about $45.

I don't drive very much, or very hard, so I think I'd be ok at the 12k intervals. I think I'll just go w/RP being that the price difference, if any, won't be anything to write home about. Should I do a write up on changing the oil/filter on the 6th gen too?

I pay to have mine done and I know how to do it. I just don't have the time. Or should I say it's just not fun to do anymore.

I don't find it fun to do myself, I'd just rather keep the $40 in my pocket and spend the half hour or so to do the job myself.
