I do feel like the synthetic fluids are far superior to anything organic myself... Royal Purple is good motor oil for me, I use it in both of my cars. I would consider their transmission fluid on my next flush.

Dex 6 is a synthetic blend, I just feel that if something gets completely GM spec'd and certified, why not use it?

I only use factory specified fluids in my transmissions, whether it's for my Ford, Chevy or Dodges.

just looked it up gm part number for dex VI is GM 9986195 looks like it covers it i am glad. it looks like it is set up for a up grade for alot of fluid that calls for a lower fluid then dex VI and excells it looked it up on other site. that i got responded to some of the guys that are there are trans builders they said it is a better choice but they said dont go back to the reg synthetic blend. because it will put a strain on the pump in the trans if you go full synthetic like royal you pretty much have to stick with it. like going with synthetic engine oil where we have to stick with it because the oil pump is use to the slicker oil. thats what i have been responded to as well as some trans shops told me this morning i was going to have them do a service drop pan put inthe up dated one with the nut and new filter.
