Revised Mod plan for N/A 3800
Wizair CAI - 5-10HP
Powerlog & Ported Manifold - 10HP
Downpipe - 5-7HP
Cermaic Coated Crossover pipe - 0-1HP
ER Rocker Arms - 10HP
HV3 INsert - 10HP
NGK Iridium Plugs - 3HP
ZZP or Thrasher Shift kit - 0HP (just for more fun driving)
Total cost of parts - $1750
Total expected (hopeful) HP gain - 35-45
A new and revised modification list I've put together, I would like to keep my car N/A, mainly because I don't want to mess with the complications and high prices of doing a S/C or T/C setup. I'm not looking to turn my car into a drag racer, but if it could be faster than most V6's out there, and maybe keep up with a few V8's I'd be happy. Ontop of these modifications I plan on getting KYB GR2 struts, new inner and outter tie rods for all 4 wheels, new tires, Borla mufflers and tips, a window tinting, and a hood scoop for the front.Any suggestions, remarks, criticisms or comments are welcome and appreciated.

wish i had the money and time for all that right now too, all the mods are great, i've heard mixed reviews on that powerlog though, that'd be my only negative thought, sounds like its going to be sick otherwise

Sounds good, but you cant compare the price of a top swap to all that, because top swaps are cheaper and more hp. Just my opinion though, but i am doing the top swap, so im biased LOL

I've seen several replied posts that I should consider getting a re-tuned PCM, I have considered this, except that it will require my car to use 91 Octane or higher gasoline, which I would like to avoid. Secondly a re-tuned PCM makes the engine work harder and certain parts wear out faster, most of the modifications I'm doing are only adding more induction and exhaust, so the engine has more air, thus more power. The re-tuned PCM raises shift points, shift firmness, and other minor things to increase power, but take a toll on engine life. The modifications I've proposed should not require any PCM tuning. I'm not completely against a re-tuned PCM, but I'd like to avoid it if I can. Another reason I'd like to keep my car N/A and not S/C is because I really can't stand the whine of the supercharger, I know it's a good thing and means tons more power, but I'm not after the big fish, I just want a bit more power without the extra nuisances that come with a highly modified car. If I can run at 240HP to the crank, that'd be enough for me. Also, at this point I have no where near the time nor the money to even begin to acquire these parts, but I do have a new job lined up soon that should be boosting my income by 50%, with that extra cash I'll begin turning this car into a true Super Sport. Again, thank you all for you comments and suggestions, you've shaped my ideas already.
