Default Question

I am wondering how many miles people are getting from the wheel bearing assemble on a 2003 Monte Carlo. I currently have 192,500 miles and I have a roaring sound that I think is coming from the back of the car. I say think because I don’t hear as well as I used to and the front two have been replaced not that many miles ago.

192,000 miles on the bearings is a really good run. Unfortunately those are one of those items that don't have a usual mileage. Everyone is different. Some people could get years out of them, some people can get months on some of their front assemblies. Depends on driving style and replacement parts.

I agree - mileage is all over the place for replacing OEM. But 200k is good life on a set.

The two fronts have been replaced I think it’s on the back this time. I’ll check this weekend.
