I have a 2 questions: with my 2003 monte ss. first off, are the headlights. when on normal, the 2 exterior (outter left and right) are on. ok, thats normal. but when i flick the highbeams on, they shut off and the inner ones turn on. on my all of my cars (mr previous montes, camaros, mustangs) the inner and outter ones would both go on at the same time. is there something wrong?

also, in my interior, i have red "markers" on the door. are they supposed to light up when my doors open? most cars i see have light up nights but mine done seem to come on. they seem like they are just "reflectors" for oncoming cars when the doors are open. again, is there something wrong? thanks!!

 

You head lights are operating normally. I believe part of the reason for this behavior is the high beam bulbs are brighter then what some other cars use, so no need for all the lights to be active.

As for the door panels, those are just reflectors, nothing more. The only lights on the door panels are the back lights in the buttons on them.

 

really? i have headlight covers on and i siliconed them on the headlights as to detur theft and i forgot how much they dim the lights. I also was kind of hoping that my door interior lights went on. i can sure use them when i get out on those drunken outtings!

 

Not sure what you mean by that. When you open the door, your dome light and the map lights on the rear view mirror should activate and stay on for a short time while the door is open.
