There were a number of 305's in third gen Camaros and the best one was the LB9. In 1986 it was rated at 190hp, in 1992 it was rated at 230hp.

The emissions system is a big reason why the hp rating is so low onthe camaro,I tink it went into effect 78 and up

I saw no bashing. Bashing would be saying something like Fords suck and Ford owners are morons, and I didn't see anything like that in any previous posts. All that was said was go Monte Carlo beat that Mustang!!! In my post I beat a Corvette, so was I bashing Chevrolet. Me thinks not. Hell, I was considering buying a 2011 or 2012 V6 Stang last month, so I have nothing against Ford. At least they didn't take money during the bailout......oops, now am I bashing GM and Chrysler?
