never been much for street racing, but i couldnt help myself. my friend Jessica is a Mustang enthusiast. shes always talking about how fast her 97 GT is, and how she would outrun me. well, i couldnt have that. so we and about 4 other friends were hanging out at the house one night and decided a walmart trip was overdue. i think we all just needed an excuse to get on the open road.
we took 3 cars. the Monte, her Mustang and our friends 92? Camaro. not sure of the model, but its a V8. he wasnt really trying to race though, cuz there wasnt much competition. lol.
we got on a long straight stretch with no other cars and let loose. the look on her face when i blew past her at 110 was priceless. when we got there, everybody got out and looked at me with surprised looks. lol. all she had to say was "i let you win"
im deff not a street racer though. not my thing, and too dangerous for me. so im takin it to the strip

monte's are underrated, especially mine because people didn't know they put V8's in them in 06/07. So they think I'm running a 6. BUT my granpa actually admitted my 5.3 would beat his 4.6 'm' word :O usually 'm' word owners won't admit anything can't beat them! 
so I was surprised.

Well first off, thinking a Mustang is fast
The 97 GT only are rated for like 215hp. As a matter of fact, if the Camaro is a 92 like you say and a v8, there's a chance its only the 305v8 which is also 215hp.
Also both cars are much older than yours, and probably are being robbed of a lot of horsepower just from age and dirty engines

I think I remember reading when they first started putting 3.8's in Camaros in the 1990s (replacing the 3.4) they were quicker through the 1/4 mile than V8 GT Mustangs of the same model year. That probably didn't last too long til Ford retaliated with more horsepower from the V8.
Way to go beating them & yeah sn95 4.6 mustangs dont have much power & new edges dont have very much more either mustangs are always underpowered unless u have a cobra, but everyone thinks sence it has a v8 its fast & nothin can beat it lol
