I need to get my monte inspected this month but my check engine light is on. Ive had two codes on and off since I got my car. The first being intermittent misfire, which I solved by changing my spark plugs. The second is a evap system failure. Apparently my purge valve is bad and stuck open. I had a guy at work scan my car and he determined that was the problem. The part is ordered and Ill get it tomorrow. $22. Anyone else have this problem? Just curious.
