Default PCM Modding advice?

Greetings,

First off, I am going to do this. Warnings are vital and accepted but I really do not like to hear "Don't do it" If you want to say this, please explain in the most detail. I know this will get some people up in air but I want to play around. I absolutely love causing trouble that I need to solve, especially with vehicles and computers. If I can combine the two, I may just die a happy stressful death.

That being said, I want to mod my PCM for performance. I have a 2001 SS MC, 3800.

Any suggestions on what software and interface I should buy to do this?

You have two options. DHP Powertuner which isn't made anymore and you'll have to find for sale on a forum.

Or HPTuners

check out clubgp.com they have lots of tuners on there sometimes.

are you experienced at all with tuning? if not i would put the money towards a dyno or something that will better suit your money
