My first car was a 76 with the 400 small block. Nice car, fully optioned and an interesting top. As far as I know, I was the second owner and I got the car in about 1986.
Just curious if anyone had ever seen one like this and knows what these options were called. It also originally had a fake wire wheel cover bolted to the top of the trunk like a wannabe continental kit. It was a gold color with a beige lower stripe. Moon roof, 40/60 split bucket, power everything. Great car and like many, I wish I'd kept it.

Other than the sun roof, the unique trim features you're describing were not available as factory options.
The 1970s was a decade of excess and there were lots of car customizers who made mild to wild modifications to new cars, the most radical being the Wisco El Classico Cadillac conversions. For the Monte Carlo, a man named Jon Tedesco created the Custom Cloud; it essentially looked like a Rolls-Royce silver cloud. The trim accents on your car may have been done by a small custom shop or even the dealer; Galpin Ford in California built a respectable reputation offering customized new cars that retained the factory warranty.
Sorry I can't be of more help.
