chris, i almost cried at how many 3.8 Z34's there were at the junkyard today... heck there was only 1 Z34 that was a real 3.4 car! so i would say about 1/4 of the monte's there i saw had a 3.8! and every one was in some form of bad wreck.

oh, and the boomerang is still in the woods

Default z 34.......

.......You may want to remove all of the air vent hoses and other parts
related to the a/c and heat ? If you hadn't done this yet ?
How is the headliner ?
But that is a great looking Z-34......
Good luck with it.

That car looks badass.
I like it, i've seen one here with that same body kit (red), and it looks even better in person.
NOW i know about your "other" Monte haha

i bet it looks killer in red.... i really like a red monte haha.

JJ, i dont think i mentioned but i was tempted to buy a '97 Z34 recently. one owner, every option, dark green with a tan leather interior, it was one of the cleanist i've seen. but it had over 200,000 miles, and even though it ran it needed an overhaul. the guy wanted $800, but its $ i dont have. although now that i found a good scource of 3.8's....

Im on the bandwagon with everyone else, I think the Z34 look AMAZING, and that body kit on this one looks great! I too would like to find one in a semi-decent state, but it would be VERY difficult as these are often DD's and are put through the ringer... Id like one in red too... or maybe black...

I had a friend just get rid of his Cavilier Z34, he was saddened to see it go, gave him over 100,000 miles.

there was an AWSOME red Z34 for sale at gray chevrolet a lil while back i woulda loved to have. it was a '99, with the 3.8, the black leather interior, and about 74,000 miles, 1 owner car. they were asking 4,500 when it sold. it was SO nice.
