Default "OTHER" Rides....

It was discussed in a previous thead about some of our "OTHER" rides besides the Monte Carlo we all love and cherish... now some of us use out Montes as daily drivers and some store them away for those rainy days. I've started this thread as i've seena LOT of members have beautiful rides that they they cherish and enjoy! Here's mine:

This is my Electron Blue Pearl EM1 2000 Honda Civic Si coupe that I picked up on November 22, 2010. It has a 1.6L B16A2 DOHC VTEC 4 cylinder engine with a manual transmission powering the front wheels. The kicker being that when I purchased the car, it had UNDER 7 thousand miles!! I picked it up because in my area, it's a truly rare car and it's ESPECIALLY rare when it's unmolested!! I also picked it up as "learner's car" as I have never driven/owned a manual transmission car. It's a really fun car to drive, and here in the icy tundra of Minnesota, it sure handles amazingly! It has a double wishbone suspension and weighs in at a mere 1600lbs. That's right 1600!!

FYI, this is the MOST stolen car in Canada! Good thing i'm NOT in Canada!

On to the pics:

These were taken RIGHT after the test drive at the dealership! WOW! I picked it up because THREE deals fell through in the 1 month it was at the dealership and TWO more gentleman were in line after I had showed up... it was quite a hot potato!

These are pics from a little mini photoshoot a friend of mine and I did around town.

This is what the car looks like now, inside and out.

Awesome! Thanks for posting. You are very lucky to have such a nice clean Si. Probably my favorite civic ever made. Probably my favorite honda ever made. Well next to the NSX maybe.

Guess that means you're not coming over to visit me? (I'm in Canada.)

Nice car man. Those Honda V-tecs are pretty decent engines.

Default ROUSH Stang!

Up next for me is my "TOY". The car that stays tucked away and only comes out for car shows, weekends or some good old fashioned SPEED!

In 2008 I orderd a 4.6L SOHC 32V V8 S197 Ford Mustang GT Premium in Superior, Wisconsin. I wasn't done there yet, the dealership was a certified ROUSH dealership and the car completely transformed! I had it compltetly turned into a Stage 2 ROUSH, and have been working on it for the last two years. It's my "MOD KING" for sure!

some BEFORE & AFTER pictures:

Modifications BY ROUSH include:

FULL body kit; front fascia with fog lights, side skirts, hood scoop, rear exhaust cutouts, side louvers and rear louvers.

It also has a ROUSH Stage 2 suspension, including: front and rear sway bars, front and rear springs and struts and billet rear control arms.

Wheels are black aluminum 18" Ford Racing rims with drilled/slotted rotars and custom painted calipers.

Exhaust is a ROUSH off road exhaust with square end tips.

At the time of purshase here, the only engine modifcation was a ROUSH cold air intake.

Interior: FULL ROUSH carbon fiber dash kit, ROUSH door sills, ROUSH foot pedals and custom ROUSH interior badging.

In the summer of 2010 I took the plunge and completed my Mustang with a FULL ROUSHcharger install. With a roots twin screw M90 supercharger, intercooler and ROUSH CAI, I boosted hp from 300 to right around 455 and torque to right around 440 foot lbs. The SOUND and performance is AMAZING! It's now completed as a ROUSH stage 3 tribute car!

Also, during this build, I had been picking up some "CUSTOM" engine bay airbrushing, complted by Unique Automotive Designs. Valve covers, strut tower covers, radiator cover with extensions, fuse box cover, degas and power steering reserve tanks all custom airbrushed.

COMPLETED project:
