Default Not to beat a dead horse: HID

Stock lights just arent cutting it anymore! I really want the HID(6k's) but I also dont wanna be that guy thats blinding everyone running HID's in a Halogen housing. I thought maybe those cheap Ebay(blacked out) housings that are said to give off poor light would be ok with the HID's..any thoughts/comments/experiences. I found a guy that does retrofits for around $300. Just really not sure what route to take.

I don't believe your beating a dead horse...
Lighting is important...
There are some members that have blacked out theres on there own.. by disassembly of the stock ones and then reassembling them...
after painting them as they need/want it..

Then there are others like you not wanting/or unable to do there stock ones like others have...
I have a 5th Gen ..So, Im not really any help as far as the 06's.. However..
IMO,
I would think it would accomplish the goal your wanting to achieve.

I'm sure other members will chime in with ideas/opinion and suggestions to help fill your need!
Thanks again for joining the MCF Family!
