Problem solved. Mechman another alternator manufacturer I found a direct competitor of DC power now offers a direct replacement for alternators in Wbody's with 5.3 year 2000 and up. They even custom make them to a customer's specification. My lucky day- should have the alternator in two weeks. Ordered a 150/170 which is exactly what I need. Hey, guys thanks for trying to help.
