doesnt look like anything should have went off, doesnt seem like it would have been a hard enough hit for the sensors to go off, looks like you kinda hit the front right away and then went under the other vehicle?

looks like just the hood and bumper, and cant really tell but probably a headlight? so maybe a grand of damage at the most?

maybe a grand for the parts but the painting and labor brings it up to 3 grand. insurance covers it.

My car was not a lot worse than that when I rear ended the Tundra. I needed a new hood, new bumper cover, one new fender, one new headlight, and the frame piece that goes around the engine bay. My air bags DID NOT go off either because there was no impact at the lower part of the bumper which is where the sensor is at. Plus I hit the guy going 15-20 MPH.

Total repairs on my car came to 7,000 and change. I think it was 7,800??? (granted I had mine repaired at a dealer with all certifications, AAA approval, blah, blah, blah) and they used nothing but genuine GM parts.

So 3,000 seems like a good deal to me, not that it matters if insurance covers it.
