Default ok this might help the 6th and 7th gen monte guys who want to add fog lights

ok this is what you might have to do first see if you have the wires for the fog lights if not genuinegmparts.com will get you the parts toy need. ok lets get started shall we the first step is remove the head light second while you have the head light you might have a straight shot where the fog light goes. on the 7th you do i pretty much think the 6th gen has a straight shot as well do to the same body style.use a flat screwdriver or a small pry bar to work the black fog light facke cover off. the third is to hook up the fog light to the bumper becare full you may have to monipulate the bumper hole do to the removal of the plug of the black cover. after that your ready to hook up the electricel to it. but keep in mind if your car didnt come with the fog lights or traction controlls you may have to order the wire harness from genuine gm parts.com the one for the 7th gen monte or at least for mine the part number is 15893839 it covers every thing for fog lights and traction controlls. i asked what about the 6th gen the person told me he has to go by the vin and go from there. i will post more when i get more to help more here remember the only thing to fear is the waiting for parts and the money for them

gm stealer fog light harness is like $30 a piece. you can also go to the yard and if you see a 97-03 malibu with fog lights you can use the harness cuz it use the same fog lights as our cars.

i'll take some pic of my car tomorrow. the fog light bracket is held by 2 tabs, which are the same tabs that hold the high sport bumper pieces
and one screw
from the outside of the fog light housing.. somebody should test fit a malibu fog light bracket i think with little modification it might work.

i got mine off of a impalla and i did some manipulation with a heat gun so i didnt have to mess any thing up with screws if you have a old hair drier or your girls old one nab it and get anouther for her they work wonders.
