I do DB DRAG during the summer time in the minnesota area here, on occasion over in Wisconsin, I have 2 of these amps right now, use these to push a pair of 18" Quad Voice Coil 1.4 ohm MA Audio Kores

however I really havent decided yet if i want to throw it in the monte, would be quite costly, for the db drags I run these in a van on daisy chained 16volt deepcycles, im going to be digging through my pics here soon, and if anyone is in my area of minnesota here, I do own a 900 spl mic so I can do readouts for people if they are curios what they are hitting.

yes it would be quite costly. even to run it at 14.4 volts would cost some money! wish i lived near you i have been wanting to play with a SPL mic for a while. about to get mine metered when i drop it down to .5ohms instead of 2ohms.

the specs are nice! kinda sucks its 6500 at 16 volts though

yeah and no, its not really a everyday kinda amp, its really more for db drag which more often then not people are running 16v, you start getting over 148 dbs and 16volt is pretty much where its at to get over that 150-160 area

I just had a good idea for the monte trunk tonight to btw, not sure if its been discussed anywhere yet, but im thinking about using peel and seal to line the trunk with and then going over the peel and seal with a coat of rhino line, thoughts on that?
