i paid $9500 for my 03 SS, 82000 miles from a private seller who had been trying ofr a year and was wanting it gone quick. i was looking at 00-02's myself actually, and a good, reliable one will run you close to $10,000

Well all I have to say is good luck collecting. My car was hit back in september and the driver was driving on suspended license ( she was ticketed and let go) and she was driving someone elses' vehicle that had no insurance. My insurance paid to repair my car (I'm out my deductible-nice!!) but they can't find her. So I'm out $$ for an accident I didn't cause, they can't find her either so no sense sueing. So again I say good luck finding her or getting her to pay. And just an FYI for everyone the only thing you can do if you take her to court is the court will put a judgement on her credit which means ****e!! She can file bankruptcy on it to have it removed. If she didn't have insurance do you really think she gives a ****e about her credit? Probably not. Bitter? Yes I am.

 

thats why you need uninsured/underinsured driver protection.

 

If I had a nicer car I'd have it. And that's the truth there cain. Uninsured drivers make me mad. I think, if your going to drive, it's your responsibility to YOU, and to everyone else to have insurance. One person without it ends up screwing over many others.

 

usually people with no insurance don't have it becasue they crash so much no one is stupid enoguh to insure them, or they have crashed so many times and gotten so many tickets they can't afford insurance anymore.

 

States like Ohio require you drive with auto insurance. but you think that matters to some? They still drive without any.

One thing not mentioned yet is you decide to sue over damages (does your neck hurt yet? [sm=icon_rofl.gif]) and go to say small claims, she will probably not appear so the judge will award in your favor. When you get ready to leave you'll hear him say something close to, "Good luck collecting." cause he knows the odds of it happening. Fair? H--l no!!!!

A guy I used to be friends with took another driver to small claims cause of the damages this other driver caused to my long ago friend's car. The judge awarded in my friend's favor and told him this very thing. "Good luck collecting."
