This! when the kid i bought it from hit the pole it bent the fron in 4 places, all ahead of the first body mount, i am choping that section out and replacing with the new section i got,
later in the week i'll be back at it right now my body hurts

 

Nothing wrong with that. I'd probably do the very same thing.

Engine i'm doing old school it's a LOW COMPRESSION 77-79 350 4 bolt (8:1 8:0CR) trowing the 416 58cc heads from the original 305 onto it(some porting) with a stock intake with adapter plate for my edlbrock 1405 600cfm carb, and a vac advance dist base,
For Now and will be collecting parts to do the vortec head swap,
Trans i'll be plopping the Th200 back in
for now untill i can get a th350(shift kit) but am starting to consider a t56swap
rearend, right now i'm looking for a cheap used factory SS limited slip carrier to fit the 7.5 and down the road try to find a 8.5 posi from a GN or ever updrade up to a 12bolt or even a 9in

 

what cam do you intend to run? what valve size are in those heads? why do you need an adaptor for the carb? spreadbore?
