I bet you'll be happy to get it back on the road. Projects always seem to take way longer than planned no matter what you do. And if I were you I paint that engine Chevy orange. You should try to shine up that carb too it would look pretty cool.

Did a bit more dissasembly today! when i bought the car the pass side of the bumper was crumpled alittle like someone backed into somthing or somthing so if i can fine one cheap it'll be getting replace and if not well it'll be easier to fix off the car anyways

Did some prep work today, i am workingg on preping everything that i will be painting black today i stripped the chrome off the bezels for the tail lights
Left is stripped
Right is untouched


I have to give props to GM and who ever they used for the plating of these 20+ years and it was still on there strong

got some painting done, just the first coat and wet sanded

Picked up 2 Major parts today!
FIRST, a set of bucket seats

They are out of a 79 nova ralley for the Awsome cost of $0 he said if i take them outa his garage they are mine!!!

and the second!!! FRAME SECTION!!!!!!

It's from a earlie 80's monte as he says, which was an SS it has the F41 bars upfront
he also included a set of UCA and LCA, spindle, and brakes
Cost $50 and $20 in gas

Rick and i have it all planed out so some progress will take place this weekend!

pulled the LCA's, Springs, and anything elses that was on the new section and wire wheeled the hell out of it

so now that that's all preped and ready i started working on pulling everything off my car, pulled the fenders, core support, Iss, Brake master cyl, ebrake cable, unbolted the rear shocks, pulled the springs and tires so it would clear, then unbolted the Body!!! only 2 gave me problems one broke and another one the nut spun so just cut a whole and held it I was impressed i pulled 8 of the 10 with out a problen using HAND TOOLS!
