Monte went for a swim today, literally!!!
That totally sucks but you should NEVER drive through standing water cause you really don't know how deep it is until it's too late. Up where I live (at least the couple of roads I take to get to and from work) didn't have flooding issues.
Lucky you! Wow... I'd bleed your breaking system to see if there is water in the lines. I'm not sure but isn't there an electronic sensor on the breaking system for anti-lock breaks that might have been shorted out? That would be my guess. You might want to check that out before you bleed you lines.
good luck.
good luck.
My thoughts exactly. And you're lucky if the interior stayed dry. With the nasty water the car was sitting in, you were sure to have mould or fungus growing inside it, if the water got in.
Personally, I would've been hoping the airbag circuit didn't short out and deploy on me. But that's just me being paranoid I suppose.

I go back to checking the vacuum system for the brake booster.

Actually I drive daily on the road that my car got stuck on and i was eyeing how deep it was to where the curb was but accourding to the construction crew that have been tearing it up since the flood and i wasnt sure y they are working on it but apparently the road has dipped 2 feet or so from the weight of the water on top of it thus for y I was in 3 feet of water when I thought I was about to drive through only a foot at the most!!! Oh and the water wasn't steady but more like a damn raging river, it kept pushing my car left n right all my wheels took major hits from the curbs surrounding the location to the point where it knocked the weight balance off of 3 of the 4 wheels
