i got hte magna flow exhaust. getting ready to get the cai intake. whats next for me mel? help me out! i have a wife which means........well you know. ty for any help or advice ya give me.
really depends on how fast you wanna go? just note that no matter how much time and money you spend to go fast theres always going to be someone whos faster on the streets. id go with what i love! the monte is just so unique and different and to make it fast would be fun!

What you have to do is a little at a time where she wont know where the money goes. 
You can do anything any other LS motor can from pistons, to cam, to turbo,
roller rockers, headers, electric cutout, tune, CAI, what ever so take your time and have fun.

im gonna get the cai intake istalled next. im not really smart when it comes to this stuff so if you were a dummy like me what project would you take on next? remember baby steps mel. ive only put the ring on her finger less than a year ago! ty for your help and advice seriously i appreciate it.

Get an exhaust system the chock these cars down they need to breath
Magnaflow and Flowmaster makes a kit and a few others. I limke the Magnaflow 100 stainless Steel and a nice growl. The Flowmasters are a little louder.

I know it happens to all of us man like others said you can make it fast plus I also like the reliablity factore for if i'd ever drive it in the winter which hasn't happen yet but hey I only got the 3800 SC at least you got the V8 lol

The insurance is cheaper on the monte and the gas mileage is a lot better with the LS4 with active fuel management compared to the LS2. I'm not sure the climate you live in, but the RWD GTO is impossible to drive in the snow/ice. The monte is a better, all-around, more practical car. I got a steal of a deal on my '04 Dale Jr. car.. I could've bought two of my cars for the price of a newer 5.3 ss monte lol. You gotta weight the cost out, because at the end of the day, it's all about the American green
